Over the next couple of days, you might find yourself asking, "What are those lines on the road?" Well, forecasts are calling for more winter weather later this week, so our snow fighters are out applying anti-icing material to the roads in preparation. Public Works expert Tyler explains the application process in this short video. Our anti-icing trucks carry tanks with a special mixture of materials that, when sprayed in lines on the roads, helps prevent the bond of snow with pavement.
