We stand with our Indigenous relatives in Western New York. Indigenous communities experience health disparities in much of the same fashion as African Americans on the East Side. The struggles might be the same but so does expressions of joy - that is exactly what this flag raising did. Thank you Samantha!
The 2nd annual Haudenosaunee flag raising at Niagara Square in honor of Native American Heritage Month went so well on Friday. It was important to me that we declare our visibility within our broader Western New York community. We are still here ??

I am grateful to have been given the opportunity to focus on how Health Equity is on the ballot in this upcoming election, specifically women’s reproductive health and reproductive freedom as a whole.
