Thank you Rhys Scott EngTech for sharing your contribution to Buehler’s 2025 calendar! Your image is stunning, and we're excited to have it featured. We appreciate your support and passion for the community!
Amazingly proud to announce that one of my microscope images has been chosen to be in the Buehler An ITW Company 2025 micro structure calendar Calendar submissions are voted for by Buehler employees worldwide from submissions that are also worldwide, and the top 12 make the cut the image itself is of a laser weld, joining copper to steel, and etched to target the copper specifically I love this image because you can see the fact that both of the metals were liquid at some point, and they've frozen in position while mixing with each other one of my aims is to make Materials science and Metallography accessable to all, so I avoid scientific and corporate jargon where possible, so if you would like to know more, get in touch!
