Some more information on yesterday's developments on the FTC N/C ban set to go into effect on Sept 4. It is on hold for now on a national basis - BUT don't assume that this means doing nothing is a serious option! Employers are still going to be impacted by state law revisions and, possibly, Congressional action in the not too far future. Take the time NOW to make sure that your agreements are 1) reasonable, 2) tailored to the actual needs of YOUR business and HOW you do business, and 3) something that a Court is likely to enforce based on fact and experience. DON'T USE A COOKIE CUTTER TEMPLATE!!
