ICYMI: BU's Professional Clothing Closet, a professional clothing service created to support first-generation and low-income students launching their careers, moves to a rental model. This new model was designed to ensure students have access to a broader selection of sizes and styles. Students pay $60 to rent the pieces for a month. If they want to rent new pieces for another 30 days, they can place an order and pay the fee again. Yet, for many first-generation and low-income students, this investment in their professional future remains out of reach. Through the Professional Clothing Closet Crowdfunding Campaign, you can make an impact by enabling the Newbury Center and Center for Career Development to fully cover this service for first-generation and low-income students.
