Most organizations struggle to effectively manage their Microsoft 365 license assignments. Licenses are often assigned to disabled or inactive users. Resource accounts (like mailboxes and meeting rooms) are given more expensive licenses than needed. Some organization’s also have unused licenses on stock, that they are not aware of. By not having control in this area, organizations miss out on potentially large cost savings. Effectively doing cost allocation between different cost centers can also be a pain for organizations with many entities. This is a gap in the market we want to take part in filling by creating an app that collects the relevant user and license information and presents the results over time in a easy-to-use report for the organizations to act on. We are set out to create an easy-to-install, easy-to-use solution for finance departments to gain control over their Microsoft 365 license spendings, while also being a valuable tool for IT departments.
