October is Cybersecurity Awareness Month! Are you still using cloud-based password managers like LastPass to store your credentials? Are you leaving your workstation unlocked for ??? Don't do that! Instead follow these simple rules! ?? 1. Use an offline password vault like KeePass to manage passwords, unless, you know, your workplace makes you (definitely don't write ?? them down, though) 2. Lock ?? your workstation every time you walk away (yes, even if it's just to get coffee from the break room) - that's some dangerous caffeine ?? 3. Use strong passwords and MFA! If you can, use something other than a text message. Maybe try the FreeOTP app by RedHat. ?? 4. Don't click on those "special offers" in your inbox! Remember, fish are friends, but it might just be a phish - don't be the bait! ?? ?? 5. Keep your work and personal devices separate!
