Michael Bsharah Biography Throughout his career, Michael Bsharah has provided communications counsel and deliverables for a range of organizations in the fields of dining and hospitality, waste management, law, faith institutions, environmental/brownfield redevelopment, public and higher education, organized labor, labor-management coalitions, as well as municipal, county and federal government. Retained by the United States Census Bureau in November 2009, Bsharah Public Relations produced and implemented strategic communication plans for the then-Detroit Region. He established productive, ongoing relationships with media, key local organizations and political leaders throughout the region that led to record Census citizen participation in Michigan, Ohio and West Virginia. In the Fall of 2010, Bsharah was presented with two awards of recognition from the U.S. Census for his work in the national effort: “...Mr. Bsharah has made a huge contribution to the Detroit Regional Census Center Partnership Program. His work was crucial in helping us connect to the hard-to-count and increase participation and response rates in his area of consideration. His work with local government officials and community groups solidified partners for the current Census and likely for the next 10 years.” In early 2011, Bsharah was invited by the White House Office on Public Engagement to participate in a series of national conference calls that discussed health care reform and the future of United States economic aid to developing nations. Bsharah Public Relations has produced countless media stories for employers and clients, alike. In 2019 and 2020, Bsharah Public Relations achieved significant local, regional, national and international client results following the tragic, high-profile deaths of Michigan teenagers Titus Cromer, Jr. and Bobby Reyes. BPR’s work on behalf of a law firm regarding the impact of COVID-19 on families and frontline essential healthcare workers generated many top stories in print and prime time broadcast coverage throughout 2020 and well into 2021. BPR directed crisis communications for the City of Flat Rock, Mich. during the Ford Assembly Plant gas leak in the Summer of 2021. BPR has also arranged and placed hundreds of positive stories for the Michigan cities of Dearborn - where he was public information director and press secretary for Mayor Michael Guido - Berkley, Ecorse, Hazel Park, Hamtramck and Charlotte. Bsharah's hard hitting work in “litigation support” for law firms has achieved local, statewide and national press examination of court cases that helped shape the positive trajectory and settlement of several cases. BPR continues producing impactful media stories for clients that appear on Michigan and national news platforms, including 66 coast-to-coast "major mentions" for a single law firm client during March and April 2024.

Kudos to BPR client Michigan Fuels, and its CEO Bill Saad, for a donation of $15,000 last week to Dearborn Public Schools for the purposes of advancing Science and Math studies as well as for classroom supplies. Dearborn is not the only Detroit-area school district receiving a donation from Michigan Fuels this year. In total, Michigan Fuels will have soon presented $100,000 in checks to schools districts that include Northville, Canton, Riverview, the Grosse Pointes, Detroit, St. Clair Shores, Grosse Ile, among others. This inspiring story also appeared in the News-Herald Newspapers and in The Arab American News.
