BSH, New Bern, North Carolina is proud to extend our congratulations to the class of 2027 BSH Mechatronics Technician Apprentices! Ethan Mathiot, LoriBeth Dunn, Lucas Bailey, Landon Collier and Leo Esteves have all been selected through a rigorous process. The BSH Mechatronics Technician Apprenticeship Program is a registered 3.5 year apprenticeship program that has a structured training model, which prepares individuals for occupations in skilled trades and crafts. The program combines on-the-job training with classroom related instruction under the supervision of an instructor experienced in the field. Upon successful completion of the program a Journeyman Card is issued to the graduate. BSH Product Training Specialist Joann Santavicca admits she actually doesn’t like the word “training.” In her eyes, what she does is engage, entertain and involve appliance dealers and managers in building excitement around product launches. Santavicca recently put this philosophy to work alongside one of the country’s largest appliance retailers – Abt – to promote the launch of Thermador’s 48-inch built-in refrigerators through information sessions and participation in in-person dealer events. Santavicca presents product innovations through relatable, real-life situations and by asking salespeople what stands out to them about a new product, and then supplying information based on their specific responses. #Thermador #BSH
