For those of you who know me, you know I am a passionate auto racing fan.??Since my first race at age 7, I have been hooked on the cars, drivers, and teams that make up the sport and industry of auto racing.? Beyond the thrill of speed, risk, and competition, I have studied what it takes for racing organizations to consistently perform and win and discovered that it’s the same stuff that enables companies to win.??Winning in professional auto racing and winning in business require leaders to align their strategy, organization, and talent in a way that results in flawless execution—day after day, week after week, race after race. This is the impetus of the new executive education program we are launching at the The University of Texas at Austin.??Winning!?is a leadership accelerator program that will teach senior leaders how to align, execute and win.??Texas McCombs School of Business and Circuit of The Americas have partnered to offer a truly unique, exciting, and powerful learning experience.? Participants will get behind the wheel of Porsches, Ferraris, McLarens, and Lamborghinis, drive in F1 simulators, and practice pit stops with F1 cars to learn how to build high performing teams, develop winning strategies, and design their operating model and culture to execute.
