I had the privilege of presenting at this year’s ADIPEC 2024 Downstream Technical Conference on a topic close to my heart: "A Real-Time Link Between Live Plant Data and Process Simulation to Improve Safety, Reliability, and Efficiency in Operations." ?? In my session, I walked through the benefits of using ProMax Data Exchange tool to seamlessly connect live plant data with process simulation software. Here's a quick overview of what I covered: ?? Real-World Case Study: I shared how a gas plant was able to tackle unexpected corrosion challenges using the ProMax Data Exchange tool—highlighting how real-time data can proactively address issues before they escalate. ?? Data Exchange Solutions: We explored how connecting live operating data with simulation software can significantly enhance plant safety, operational reliability, and efficiency by enabling more informed decision-making. ?? Practical Setup: I provided a step-by-step walkthrough on setting up Data Exchange, making it easier for operators to integrate this tool into their daily workflows.
