Setting up parallel reaction monitoring (PRM) methods has traditionally been complex and time-consuming. However, a new paper in Wiley's Proteomics and Systems Biology journal outlines a semi-automated workflow that enables the quick and easy transition from dia-PASEF to PRM method generation. This workflow, designed for the timsTOF platform, leverages DIA data and a customizable target list, making PRM set-up faster and easier than ever before. Bruker’s timsTOF instruments allows researchers to easily analyze hundreds of PRM targets in just 20 minutes and perform both DIA discovery and PRM targeting on the same instrument.
