This international tradeshow is dedicated to the commercial concrete and masonry industries, providing a valuable platform for industry professionals to stay updated on the latest technology, applications, and business strategies. At the event, our team learned from industry experts, gaining insights to adapt and grow in an ever-evolving industry landscape. Our team collaborated on projects with Indiana's largest universities, including a significant endeavor at the Teter Quadrangle of Indiana University. Addressing water infiltration issues in the tunnel and erosion of the limestone facade was paramount. We successfully implemented a new CETCO system to enhance waterproofing and prevent future leaks. Celebrating their upcoming 100th anniversary, Tabernacle Presbyterian Church in downtown Indianapolis undertook a significant project to restore the exterior stone of their historic building. Deteriorating mortar, salt damage, and crumbling finials had impacted the structure, prompting a detailed restoration effort. The dedicated restoration team meticulously evaluated the facade using CAD drawings and a drone survey of the tower to plan the restoration process. The repairs involved precise tuckpointing of the lower sections, thorough stone cleaning, and the exact replacement of damaged areas with new materials. The intricate work extended to the tower, where a sophisticated 15-deck scaffolding system, suspended from the roof, allowed for seamless restoration without disrupting church activities. Furthermore, the project included enhancing the church's aesthetics by replacing the concrete entry steps and upgrading the surrounding sidewalk. The successful completion of the restoration project left all parties involved highly pleased with the renewed appearance of the church.
