Here’s a look at what we’re working on together: 2nd Adventure Patriots (2AP): A Community for Veterans, Guardsmen, Reservists, and Their Families We’re proud to have 2nd Adventure Patriots (2AP) as part of our Brownells family. This employee resource group brings together veterans, guardsmen, reservists, and their families, creating a space for connection and support within our company. Through shared experiences and a spirit of camaraderie, 2AP empowers members to uplift each other, find community, and celebrate the unique strengths and perspectives of our military community. Brownells LE/MIL Program One way we’re saying thanks is by offering special pricing to law enforcement and military personnel through our LE/MIL Program. From local officers to federal agents and military members, we’re glad to make it a bit easier for those who serve to get the products they need. Supporting Special Operations Wounded Warriors We're proud to sponsor Special Operations Wounded Warriors (SOWW), which works to support members of the Special Operations Forces who’ve been injured in service. Brownells CEO,?Pete Brownell,?represented SOWW on Task Force Expedition's recent climb to the summit of Mt.?Kilimanjaro, helping spread awareness and raise money for their work with veterans who’ve put it all on the line. Task Force Expedition: Climbing for a Cause As a member of Team SOWW, Pete joined aforementioned Task Force Expedition's Climb for a Cause?up Mt. Kilimanjaro to raise funds for veterans’ organizations. The funds will support nonprofits focused on everything from mental health and family support to addiction recovery and veterans’ rights. It’s an inspiring journey with an important mission, and we’re honored to be a part of it. What has Pete Brownell been up to lately? Oh, nothing much... just climbing Mount Kilimanjaro. But this climb isn’t just about reaching the summit—it’s about something much bigger.?Beyond the Summit: Climbing for a Cause, Task Force Expedition's documentary premiering tomorrow, follows Pete and a team of other mission-driven leaders on a journey to raise crucial funds for organizations making a real difference. Through this initiative, we’re supporting causes that are close to our hearts. Every dollar raised will help Task Force Expedition and the selected nonprofits focus on their missions ranging from suicide prevention and substance abuse rehabilitation, to support for active duty and retired special operators and their families, to treatments for traumatic brain injuries and post traumatic stress, to fighting for constitutional rights and the well being of our nations first responders. One of the key nonprofits behind this mission is SOWW- Special Operations Wounded Warriors believes in giving back to those who have risked everything to defend our freedoms. Join us in celebrating an incredible milestone at Brownells – Kelly Bryan’s retirement after 43 remarkable years! Kelly has had the unique privilege of working with all three generations of the Brownell family, and one of his proudest achievements was helping secure the land for Big Springs Nature Preserve – perfectly combining his love for hunting, fishing, and connecting with people.
