Beauty is their name! Did you know that Black women spend $7.5 billion on beauty products annually? This figure may come as a surprise, but consider this statistic: less than 5% of employees in the beauty industry are Black, from entry-level positions to the C-suite, for both men and women. Fortunately, Black women are working hard to change the status quo and increase diversity within the field.
