Building the flat lays for the display cases took THREE whole days - but it was SO much fun! Taking inspiration from Modern Luxury and Boutique Design | BDNY Magazine, I carefully laid out Designs of Distinction? components and materials combined with samples from companies like Fishman's Fabrics, Flavor Paper, and Sherwin-Williams. Each case flows from one aesthetic to another - feminine to masculine and traditional to eclectic - and I'm damn proud of marrying colors and textures! These display cases line the back wall of our #KBIS2025 Booth N2363. Crafted by Custom Wood Products, Inc and supported by Element Designs aluminum bases with EcoDomo recycled leather veneer tops - these cases are truly stunning and we can't WAIT to show them off!

? MLK Day of Service Recap! ? At Brown Wood Inc, we believe in making a difference in our community. This Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service, our team came together to support two incredible organizations: ?? Connections for the Homeless: We assembled 75 bagged lunches to help provide nourishment and hope to those in need. ?? The Night Ministry: We created 25 "essentials" backpacks and 40 cozy no-sew fleece blankets to support their mission of connecting with and caring for Chicago's unhoused neighbors. These efforts are part of our 2025 commitment to giving back: ?? Employees can volunteer during work hours while receiving regular hourly pay. ?? Brown Wood Inc matches $250 annually in charitable donations per employee. ?? Year-round, we actively seek out opportunities to serve—from park cleanups to soup kitchens. We're proud to support organizations like Connections for the Homeless and The Night Ministry, whose work embodies dignity, compassion, and human connection. ??
