The Morgan Adams Foundation funds kids’ cancer research, raises awareness, and educates our communities about the need for pediatric and young adult-specific cancer treatments. Working with leading researchers and physicians, they fund new and innovative ideas to improve cancer treatment effectiveness, overall outcomes, survival rates, and quality of life while minimizing current treatments' devastating side effects on children. Celebrating our October Anniversaries this month! Thank you for the continued service to our team!

This month, Brothers Plumbing, Heating & Electric is proudly donating $1,000 to the Lime Light Outreach’s 4th Annual Golf Tournament to benefit Dry Bones (Denver)/Purple Door Coffee. Dry Bones Denver is a local non-profit that works with unhoused teens and young adults. They realized that most of their unhoused friends desperately desired?a path out of homelessness.?The lack of foundational life skills training and community support created immense barriers to joining traditional society. This realization gave life to Purple Door Coffee. Their goal was to create a self-sustaining enterprise that would provide foundational job and life skills in conjunction with strong community support. Lime Light Outreach still has tickets and sponsorship opportunities available for this year’s golf tournament. Maitrī means benevolence, loving-kindness, friendliness, amity, good will, and active interest in others. It is the first of four Buddhist states where one is to be cultivated towards all in a spirit of generosity which is free of attachment or thoughts of self-interest.? This fits with the Brothers Gives Back’s focus on paying it forward. We believe that every little thing one person does can change someone else’s life for the better. Being able to give back to cause that approaches assistance on all levels gives us joy knowing that our drop in the bucket can go towards helping a great program.
