What a wonderful day we had at Brooks Building Solutions for our ABB all compatibility experience and fall golf classic featuring the ABB ACE Truck. Customers experienced a guided tour of ABB's ACE (All Compatible Experience) Truck where they ??learned about ABB's Variable Frequency Drive offerings.?The Truck now includes ABB's new 580 4X family of drives, ABB's Ultra-Low Harmonic Drive, and the ACH-580 with Bluetooth capability. From there customers visited our brand-new Parts Store and Training Room where we held two Harmonics Classes. Everyone finished off with some fun?at?two golf simulators and a putting green.

Brooks celebrated another successful FPC event in Orlando this year, with help from our partners at Distech Controls and Critical Room Control. Thank you to everyone who stopped by the booth to learn about the Building Automation solutions we can provide businesses, even beyond the medical field. An additional thank you to those who joined us, and the wonderful staff at the Headwaters Lounge, for an evening with savory food and great conversations. Looking forward to seeing everyone again next year at the Disney Springs Coronado Resort!

University of Florida Broward Hall was a complicated Klimak custom air handler installation with three units sitting in very tight spaces, each with wrap-around heat pipes and bypass dampers.?Thanks to a?detailed design by the engineer, one of the three units cleared the walls by just a few inches on three sides. Amazing job by the design and installation team, H2 Engineering and W.W. Gay Gainesville. ?Working together these AHUs were installed in a challenging environment and on a tight timeline. Klimak’s motto, “If there is a way, we will find it”, certainly rang true in this installation. Brooks Building Solutions is proud to be representing Klimak Custom Air Handling units. The “ART OF THE POSSIBLE” is what our customers are saying about the recent Klimak custom air handler installation at the University of Florida in their Performing Arts Center (also known as the Phillips Center). This challenging installation required knock-down shipment so the unit could be built in place. The installation team had to get this 45,000 CFM AHU in the building and shoehorn it into the mechanical room.?H2 Engineering did an amazing job of designing plans to make this project a success. Together, CT Mechanical and Klimak got the job done. Klimak’s motto, “If there is a way, we will find it”, certainly rang true in this installation.
