How do you measure, measure a year? This is one measurement of our 2024. Across all of our locations, our students built almost 35,000 robots! Each one of them is totally unique and totally awesome, just like the kids who built them. We're incredibly proud of the impact we were able to make in 2024, and we're working hard to top it this year. 关于我们
Brooklyn Robot Foundry strives to empower kids through fun and immersive STEAM programs. Our hands-on classes, full-day programs, parties, and summer sessions ignite creativity, imagination, and whimsy. Franchise opportunities are now available! Founded by current owner Jenny Young, a mom with a mechanical engineering background, the Foundry makes a space where learners of all backgrounds feel comfortable being themselves and expressing their personalities through their projects. We offer class options for kids two to fourteen years old, as well as adults! The core of our business is our amazing staff — a diverse mixture of engineers, tinkerers, artists, and teachers who all love working with kids. We are thrilled to have the trust and support of our local communities and the parents who send their children to our programs again and again, and we are constantly evolving to make our classes more exciting and more educational! We aim to inspire and motivate kids by teaching them about the fun of building. We love the idea of learning and coming together through making things. We believe in the DIT—do it together— mentality and the importance of building a community around this common goal!

It's always a pleasure to cover my friends and colleagues in Black Enterprise Magazine. Thank you Richard Snow, MBA, and your wonderful wife Denise Marie Snow for sharing your "why" with our readers in becoming franchise owners of the Brooklyn Robot Foundry. While government and corporations are doing their best to dismantle #DEI, it's small business owners like you that will ensure marginalized communities are serviced. How do you measure, measure a year? These are some of our measurements of 2024 from our Production department. Our production manager is responsible for sourcing and stocking hundreds of different pieces that are used in our robots. Then the Production staff packs those pieces into individual kits for one of over the 500 robot projects we teach. While that is all about numbers, we're really all about inspiring and empowering kids - one yellow axle wheel at a time! ??"We don't provide education, but FUN-ducation," a franchisee of Brooklyn Robot Foundry shares. Built by a generational mechanical engineer Jenny Young, Brooklyn Robot Foundry?offers super fun STEAM enrichment programs for kids (and sometimes adults) online and in-person year-round. In 2024, the franchise was recognized as "Best in Business" by Inc. Magazine. "We got out of the corporate world to make a dent in the universe and what better way to do that than help the next generation be more active with their hands and minds," adds another franchisee. This point that Tarang Amin makes is so important: "Diversity of thought is engrained in our business, and we seek the best possible talent with a wide variety of perspectives..." That is what allows you to connect with your customers. To understand them. To reach them. And to provide the products they want and need. Kudos. #DoingWellByDoingGood
I had the?privilege of joining?Erin Burnett?on?CNN?to talk about what drives us at?E.L.F. BEAUTY?--?positivity, inclusivity and accessibility. ? As I shared with Erin, our mission is to?make the best of beauty accessible to every eye, lip and face, and we live this mission by having?a best-in-class?and diverse team and Board of Directors that reflects our community. We are one of only two publicly traded companies in the U.S., out of 4,000, with a Board of Directors that is 78%?women?and 44%?diverse. This unwavering commitment has always been a part of who we are and it’s what our community expects of us. Erin asked if it takes courage to maintain this mission, and while it does, I’ve yet to meet a CEO who isn’t committed to fostering a high performing?and diverse?workforce. At e.l.f., we believe the diversity?of our team?is one of?our greatest strengths, contributing to 23 consecutive quarters of net sales and market share growth. Alicia Keys, who is part of the e.l.f. family through our Keys Soulcare brand, beautifully captured this sentiment at the GRAMMY's: "DEI is not a threat, it's a gift. The more voices, the more powerful the sound." We wholeheartedly believe in the power of diverse voices and perspectives. ? Thank you, Erin and the CNN team, for providing an opportunity to share how we’re continuing to lead with our mission and values. ? Watch the segment below:?? ?
