We are proud to be a core part of the Harbor Climate Collaborative (HCC) and were excited to jointly display the great work of our member companies in today’s NYC Climate Technology Showcase. A special thank you to our partners in this collective, the New York City Economic Development Corporation and the Trust for Governors Island, as well as to First Deputy Mayor Maria Torres-Springer and Dr. Michael Oppenheimer for their inspirational remarks. Over 40 innovative climate tech companies showcased their products at this event, including a dozen Yard based businesses Kelvin , L?RO, Pliant Energy Systems Inc, Thalo Labs, Kintra Fibers, Voltaic Systems, Matcha, Popwheels, Clip, TARFORM - Mobility of Tomorrow, itselectric, and Pave Motors - pavemotors.com. We're thrilled to support these cutting-edge companies through our Yard Labs program and that the Yard can be a proving ground for their technology. The time is now to take action against climate change, with companies like these leading the way. Through our commitment to double the number of pilots across the collaborative, we will continue to provide the space for climate tech businesses to take root and grow. #NYCClimateTechShowcase #GreenEconomy? #ClimateTech #HCC #HarborClimateCollaborative

Yesterday, the Brooklyn Navy Yard was honored to be the first stop on Governing Mayor of Berlin Kai Wegner's tour of the United States focusing on transatlantic exchange and cooperation. The visit coincided with Navy Yard's own Pave Motors - pavemotors.com production launch of their electric motorbikes. Pave co-founders and brothers Nicolaus Nagel and Caspar Nagel are originally from Berlin and have been operating out of the Navy Yard since 2020. Thank you to Berlin Partner für Wirtschaft und Technologie GmbH for organizing this amazing trip!
