My heart sank. I promised her I’d stay calm, and that’s when she told me my brother Ruslan had been reported missing in action. In war, “missing in action” can mean many things: he might be injured and hiding, he could be captured, or he may have been killed but his body hasn’t been found or retrieved yet. Tragically, russian forces often shell relentlessly, making it impossible to recover the wounded or fallen soldiers. Ruslan is more than a soldier. He is the father of two young children: Sofia, 4 years old, and Denys, 2. His wife, Maryana, is now left to grieve while trying to raise their children and navigate life without him. My family is doing everything we can to support her, but it’s not enough to fill the void Ruslan has left behind. That’s why I’m asking for your help. Your donation can make an immediate difference, easing Maryana’s burden and providing stability for Ruslan's children during this heartbreaking time.
