We are compliance design.

关于我们

At Broadcat, we make compliance training that prosecutors look for. We center our work around your business processes—where compliance actually happens—instead of abstract legal risk. So rather than teach your employees how to be a compliance professional, we teach them how to do their own job compliantly through job aids, checklists, infographics, decision trees, and other visual tools. No more chasing compliance training trends that keep getting more expensive and complex. Our practical materials make your life easier: they’re customizable and easily branded, quick to deploy, and focus on the business applications that prosecutors look for. You’ll find our training and tools in the hands of over two million people across the globe, ranging from employees at small, high-risk companies to members of the Fortune 100. Come work with us. We are Broadcat.

You know how we Broadcats are. We’re crazy about #compliance. We love it! ??? ? As with all things we love, though, there are some aspects about compliance that just drive us up a wall. One of those things? TIME-BASED TRAINING REQUIREMENTS ?? And, ya know, sometimes you just gotta let the frustration out. So, if you feel like we do, and you’re in a little mood for a vent sesh, check out Jennifer May's post, “If I could turn back time-based training.” Does the post offer some we’re-all-irritated-about-this-together catharsis? Yes! But does it provide any actual solutions to the problem? OF COURSE IT DOES!! C’mon, it’s us. ?? Take a deep breath and let’s go. Link in comments below. ?? #ComplianceTraining

?? Know. Your. Customer. Crypto exchange OKX just got hit with a $500 million penalty for AML failures. Key takeaway for compliance pros: robust real-time monitoring is non-negotiable! ?? 32 minutes to perfect a hard-boiled egg? Turns out, it’s all about strategy! 2 min boil, 2 min rest, repeated 8 times. That’s a lot of work for an egg! ??? The average American searches Google 126 times per month from their desktop computer. How do you measure up?

?? Turns out—making money costs MORE MONEY! Pennies? 3.7¢. Nickels? 13.8¢. Dimes? 5.8¢. And quarters… 14.7¢! And get this: ditching the penny might backfire, forcing us to mint even more nickels. ? Tea has tons of health benefits! Beyond its potential to help with stroke, dementia, and…well… staying alive, research shows that the brewing process can whittle down lead ions in water by about 15%! ?? Would you want a raccoon as a pet? In about 20 states, that's already legal—and Kansas might be next! A resident is leading the charge to legalize raccoon ownership, arguing that with the right regs, both public safety and animal welfare can be protected.

When you think of independence, what comes to mind? In #compliance, independence means that you have the ability to conduct your job as you see fit. It means you do your work *for your company* (read: for your Board)—not for a boss, a GC, or another C-level exec.? You probably already knew that. But do you know how to assess whether you’re truly independent? Because there’s a big difference between FEELING independent and actually BEING independent. Assessing independence can get a bit confusing, so Jennifer May is sharing five ?? questions you can ask yourself to determine whether you’re truly independent in your role. Our advice: Carve out some time to really sit with this post. She covers some pretty heavy stuff, and it’s a really intense gut check. We promise it’s worth it. ?? https://lnkd.in/e4kQHH-F
