Compelling (to keep viewers watching) ?? Inspiring (to urge viewers to take action) Let’s understand this with this example from Minima. Taking help from Ordinary Folk, they use animated visuals and a commanding voiceover to hook their viewers by addressing the issue of control. Showing how blockchain users can still face roadblocks when trying to get control over their financial destiny, despite using a technology that’s designed just for that. This is followed by minimal frame-by-frame animation that keeps the viewers engaged by showing Minima giving control back to blockchain users, this time with the promise of transparency and convenience as users access their blockchain solution, uninterrupted, right from their smartphone. But the thing that I found quite inspiring in this video was how they motivate their viewers to take action by communicating their brand mission, saying: “A network so decentralized that no one controls it and everyone owns it” This adds another layer of credibility, making Minima’s offering not only undeniable but worthy of trust from users, bringing them closer to trying Minima’s blockchain platform for themselves. When they reached out to us, they wanted to address COOs who oversaw terminal management and operations teams with a solution that could streamline their container terminal operations. But, most importantly, they wanted to position themselves as a partner these working professionals in container terminal management could rely on without a second doubt. Together with their Creative Lead, Silvia Silva, we helped them to do just that with an intricately designed animated explainer video We went with a 2-minute explainer video that touched upon the various challenges to container terminal operations, going the extra mile in showing how their software tackled those issues effectively. The video helped Avlino address their audience’s desire for growth and the challenges that hindered it in a truly comprehensive manner. In 2019, Job van der Voort and his co-founder, Marcelo Lebre, launched Remote, an all-in-one HR platform for businesses. Being a new startup in the B2B HR space required getting their name out there and building trust and credibility as they navigated this market. So to do that, they put their trust into animated explainer videos while adopting video marketing as their primary marketing strategy. The use of videos helped Remote build a credible brand perception that commanded authority, turning them into a key player in the B2B HR industry. The result? When they reached out to us, their goal was to make warehouse inventory management less intimidating for warehouse managers and C-level executives working in warehouse operations. Along with that, they wanted to highlight how Verity’s solution brought with it several benefits, ranging from warehouse sustainability to employee productivity. So with insights from their Marketing Consultant at the time, CaroleAnne Hardy, we crafted a mixed-media explainer video that showed Verity’s offering in full force. Using mixed media animation helped Verity address the pain points of warehouse inventory management while employing realistic visuals to position their offering as a reliable solution. This explainer video proved useful to Verity on their landing page, social media accounts, and as a looping presentation in trade shows, making a virtual presentation feel like the real deal.
