Views from the new office ?? the team is loving it! Now that we are settled into a new office, it further reinforces the whole WFH vs. in-office debate is wrong. Dead wrong. This platform is too saturated with unnuanced takes. So here I go. When we started the company in 2022, people thought we were crazy for mandating 5 days in office. Nearly everyone looked at us as if we had 3 heads, and launched the in vogue truisms about the future of work..."Talent is evenly distributed", "You can get great people everywhere",?"COVID proved that people can be productive from anywhere". blah, blah, blah... spare me. Most of these people offering "advice" were still drunk from ZIRP management fees, and/or over-funding their businesses. And candidates that levied those truisms, didn't and still don't know what it takes to build a 0-1 business. The VCs have all recanted, and won't actually fund you if you aren't in person, and those same operators are struggling to get their people back. Hybrid is ruining their culture, and negatively impacting results. And every so often I talk to a candidate that is still in la la land––it's a short conversation. The people that want to win instinctively know that in office is an enabler. And it is A LOT more fun. The real question is, "How do you build an environment that enables your team to get into flow, and focus?" Here's how I see it: → Want to take a call, and not disturb the team? Call booths, and call rooms. → Need to jam on a project with teammates? Take over a conference room for a week → Need to do deep work? Take over a call room, strap on your noise canceling headphones, and get to it.? → Don't want to talk to anyone while you focus? Put on your headphones, turn off Slack, and put up your hood.? → Teammates next to you are talking too much??Politely remind them to take conversations to a conference room. We moved into a bigger space that we can grow into for this reason. Oh, and we also got a screaming deal on new space. And on a SQ FT basis, cheaper and much nicer than our old spot. Not to mention this landlord isn't unethical––our last certainly was. If you're going to have people in the office 5 days a week, people need to get and stay in flow. We have built an environment that allows that. Can't wait to build the future of buyer SuperAgents here???

At BRM, we prioritize focus because solving hard problems demands it. That’s why every Wednesday is Whisper Wednesday—a dedicated day for uninterrupted, deep work. Here’s how it works: ?? Prepare in advance—ask questions, scope your work, and define clear goals. ?? Mandatory focus hours, from 10am-4pm with a break for lunch. ?? No Slack activity or meetings during focus hours. Why? Because creating space for focus isn’t just about productivity; it’s about building a culture where our team can do their best work—and win.

170 hours saved. 4.1 work weeks back. Our CEO, James just broke down the true cost of manual contract management—spoiler: it’s painful. The old way? A tedious, error-prone process that eats up your time and budget. The BRM way? Connect your Gmail, let our SuperAgent do the heavy lifting, and get back to work that actually moves the needle. No gimmicks. No extra paywalls. Just a smarter way to manage contracts.

Manually collecting contracts, and managing renewals is death by 1,000 cuts: This tool saves 163 man hours (4.1 work weeks) per 200 contracts on average, in just a few clicks. Here's the old way of contract collecting??? → Determine if it is a sales or vendor contract → Forward the contract to the "contracts person"/yourself (30 seconds) → Contract person downloads it (30 seconds) → Uploaded to file storage or crusty CLM... (1 minute) → Organize the documents it into a folder (1 minutes) → Read/process/extract agreement details (~29 minutes) → Add key dates to a tracking spreadsheet (5 minutes) → Set calendar events per contract for key dates (4.5 minutes) → Ping colleagues via Jira/Slack/Linear?(2 minutes) → "Remind" your colleagues incessantly about the renewal for 60 days prior (7.5 minutes) -- Total minutes per agreement: 51 minutes (per our data) Average quantity of total agreements: 200 Total manual minutes after agreements: 10,200 (170 hours) I don't know how much 170 hours of your time is worth, but for me, that's a massive expense (not including the headache). Don't forget that if you miss a contract, you are are going to waste spend, and get caught off guard at the renewal. Or, hear me out... 1. Connect your Gmail to BRM 2. BRM's SuperAgent reads through only your vendor documents 3. BRM extracts all of the key commercial terms? 4. BRM asks you to review the work of our SuperAgent (at 97% efficacy) 5. Enjoy the 4 weeks of work back Yes, collecting contracts from GMAIL, and managing renewals can be this painless. In just 60 seconds after connecting, BRM will start finding contracts. No, there's no gimmicks, extra paywalls, or surprise expenses. You get a flat rate per vendor, and in return? Hundreds of multiples in ROI when you're not letting vendor renewals slip through the cracks. I'll show you how it works—comment "ROI" or shoot me a message if you're interested.

Our founder and CEO, James McGillicuddy, lived this philosophy as a player at Stanford Football. ""Put it on tape"" was about showing up, being accountable, and using every moment as a chance to grow. At BRM, we’ve embraced this same mindset. We review, reflect, and refine our work to achieve excellence. Mistakes aren’t setbacks—they’re opportunities to learn and improve. To honor this, we created the Tape Award: each week, we recognize one team member who exemplifies tenacity, agency, progress, and excellence. This isn’t just about individual growth—it’s about lifting the entire team to win together. When everyone commits to progress, there are no limits to what we can achieve.
