The British Gas Energy Trust has today been to Parliament to launch a new report calling for coordinated action to eliminate fuel poverty ?? The report was launched by Miatta Fahnbulleh, the Minister for Energy Consumers, who was joined by British Gas managing director Catherine O'Kelly, as well as Jessica Taplin and Arvinda Gohil OBE, the CEO and Chair of British Gas Energy Trust. The key recommendations of the report include lengthening funding periods, establishing social tariffs, enhancing energy efficient homes and maximising income support.
