When D.J. Kranz Co., Inc. needed a subcontractor with advanced glazing expertise for the Genesis building, Brin Glass Company delivered. From precise field measurements to seamless pre-glazing, our team ensured a flawless installation of the Oldcastle Reliance Cassette Curtainwall system. The result? A sleek, modern design featuring 5,200+ square feet of glass and a custom three-leaf bi-fold door that stands out in the showroom. ?? Project Manager at Heartland Glass

3.14 - AKA Pi Day! ?? Pie preference or project preference? ?? While I usually lean toward smaller projects (I love that "turn and burn" feel), I’ve got to admit—CCH Sauk Crossing is really starting to grow on me. I’m lucky to be working with such an incredible team! ?? Special shoutout to Senior PM Ken Schueller, whose decades of experience are teaching me more than I ever thought possible (he's been in the industry longer than I’ve been alive! ?? ). As always, a big thanks to Heartland Glass glazing duo Miah and Benny , who are always up for the next adventure, and of course, to RJM Construction for providing an amazing on-site team. I’m learning a ton every day and couldn't ask for a better crew to collaborate with. And one thing I’ve definitely learned from this project... "open" heights are no friend of mine! ?? #PiDay #ProjectLife #Teamwork #ConstructionLife #LearningFromTheBest

One of the things I appreciate most about working with the team at Northwestern Glass Fab is our role as the fabrication hub for the Brin Glass Company family of companies. It’s always great to see our team’s hard work make its way across the Brin network and into projects. We just sent another delivery up to the St. Germain's Glass team in Duluth—another example of how our distribution network keeps things moving. Partnering with them helps us get things done for our teams and our clients. Proud to be part of this team!

For the first time ever...GlassCast was recorded LIVE on the BEC stage at #BEC2025! ??? Katy Devlin sat down with President & CEO of Brin Glass Company Priscilla Koeckeritz and VP of Assured Glass Services Alyssa Wolf?to discuss changes and transitions within their respective companies and the pain points and benefits that come along with that process. Both Koeckeritz and Wolf recently transitioned into leadership roles at their organizations. Both women say that the key to a successful leadership transformation is a slow transition and working together with the previous leaders to ensure it is as seamless as possible. "For me, it's not just about glass, it's more about the people and building the culture. Our company is 113 years old and we're preparing it for another 113 years," says?Koeckeritz. Wolf adds that it's vital to go through and make sure you have the right people in the right roles for their strengths. "You can have really good people, who maybe just aren’t in the right role for them." Koeckeritz adds, "People who weren’t on board with the direction or transition of the company, went elsewhere. The lightness and participation we have now is astounding after a couple of people leaving the mix." Technology advances are a common pain point for many organizations. Koeckeritz says that Brin is currently "hitting the pause button" on incorporating new tech into their processes. Koeckeritz says that they are going system by system to make sure that people are properly trained on how to use it and it is actually useful for the day-to-day. Wolf says that while digital transformation can be difficult, especially for a multi-generational organization, it's important to always ask yourself, "Is there a better way to be doing this?" If there is, you must continue to adapt, even if it's difficult. Koeckeritz adds to not underestimate what your glazier team is capable of. Instead of assuming they don't want to use new technology, communicate with them and make sure you're collecting input and feedback. Input, feedback and communication are the three huge tenets of any successful organization. Koeckeritz and Wolf both stressed the success of regular one-on-one meetings between managers and employees to make sure people are in the right roles, getting work done and communicate any issues. When asked what advice they would give to themselves one year ago, Wolf reiterated a piece of advice she received from someone else: to not panic because “everything is figure-out-able.”? "I wish I could go back and say 'dig your heels in and get prepared,'" says?Koeckeritz. She also added that it would have been beneficial to spend more time with Brin's contract teams early on. This episode of GlassCast will be available to listen online soon! So make sure to keep an eye out... National Glass Association (NGA) #glass #glazing #leadership

It's Women in Construction (WIC) Week, and I’m honored to work alongside so many incredible women who are making an impact in this industry!???? ??♀? Women now represent about 10% of the construction workforce—that’s progress worth celebrating, but we still have more work to do! Truthfully, I never imagined myself in this industry, but it has been the most rewarding part of my career. And as a mom of two girls, it’s been a joy to have them ask about the jobsites I visit and the work we do across the Brin Glass Company family of companies. ?? Women belong in construction. We are leaders, problem-solvers, and innovators in this demanding yet incredibly fulfilling field. To the women paving the way—past, present, and future—I see you, I celebrate you, and I’m grateful to be on this journey with you! ??

A few weeks ago, I shared a behind-the-scenes sneak peek of something exciting Northwestern Glass Fab was part of—now, I can finally share the full details. Last month, our team was approached by Enterprise Minnesota to be featured in the Spring issue of their magazine. I never expected to be a cover model, but hey, a win is a win! ?? Jokes aside, this was truly an honor. I’m so proud to showcase the incredible work my team does every day, and it’s even more exciting to see it showcased in this way. Huge thanks to Enterprise Minnesota for the feature—be sure to check out this month’s issue! https://lnkd.in/g9BZnp5F
