Te’na wanted to create a wonderful surprise for two of our residents celebrating their 54th wedding anniversary so our team jumped into action and made it happen the day of! Vibrant table decor, chocolate truffles, a personalized card from the team, their favorite sparkling water - and let’s not forget Chef Maria’s signature chocolate cake for two. Mr. and Mrs. Summers were shocked when they walked into the Severn Bistro and were serenaded in song by all their neighbors! Moments like these remind us of the true meaning of hospitality: when people leave feeling better about themselves and not better about you. Life truly is vibrant at Brightview Senior Living! Earlier this month, our Brightview White Marsh residents traveled along (get your kicks on) Route 66 ?? stopping in Illinois, Oklahoma and finishing the trip in California! From Chicago-style hot dogs, Twinkies and popcorn, we honored the delicious fare born in the Prairie State. In Oklahoma, residents toasted with a Soda Shop happy hour, complete with grenadine and maraschino cherries and a viewing of The Wizard of Oz. Last stop California, where all enjoyed chocolate donuts, 'spare tires,' and homemade brownies from one of our amazing associates.
