Brighton Center & Brighton Properties have amazing Board and Junior Board members, and we love to show our appreciation for their incredible leadership with a “Board Member Leadership in Action” recognition. This is nominated by staff and other Board Members. Recently, we recognized Brighton Center Board Member Jennifer Barnes. Jennifer has been a key connector and advocate for Brighton Center. Jennifer is consistently engaged, energetic, and supportive at events, often introducing our team to new contacts. She’s also collaborating on financial wellness initiatives and strongly supports youth.

Thank You, Newport on the Levee, for including Brighton Center in your Reds Openings Day celebration! We enjoyed celebrating the Reds and sharing our comprehensive services with the community.

Afterschool youth at Bright Days Child Development Center were treated to an interactive dive into Lakota culture by Starr Chief Eagle. Staff Chief Eagle is an American Indian Culture Interpreter representing the Lakota Sioux people of the Northern Great Plains. She specializes in traditional Lakota Hoop Dancing and treated youth and staff to a special Hoop Dance performance and demonstration. The kids enjoyed learning about the Lakota Culture and interacting through Hoop Dancing. This was made possible through the Artist on Tour program through the Cincinnati Arts Association.

This week is National Safe Place Week 2025, and Brighton Center is grateful to the 100 Safe Place sites throughout Northern Kentucky that help provide a safety net for young people in our community. #NSPWeek2025
