At BrightFarms, the strength of our company is in our people. While Hurricane Helene had minimal physical impact to our Hendersonville, NC greenhouse, the destruction of the storm left widespread devastation to our surrounding Hendersonville, NC community, including the homes of many of our team members. We are grateful for the immediate and swift support of Cox Enterprises and Cox Farms who quickly mobilized a truck of supplies to support all those affected, in addition to the BrightFarmers who have raised thousands of dollars to support their very own.?BrightFarmers across the company have also banded together to leverage the power of our network to ensure our customers continue to get leafy greens every day. a further testament to the resiliency and commitment our people have to our mission. In times like these, we recognize the importance of coming together to rebuild and restore our communities. To all those working tirelessly to restore power and hope in the affected areas, we honor your efforts knowing they are making a difference. ??

Last month, our BrightLeaders team met to strategize and plan for closing out 2024. With 3 new greenhouse opening within just a span of a few months, the team was energized and excited for the challenge, while also taking time to celebrate this monumental milestone. Hey Chicago – BrightFarms is bigger and better than ever.?We’re thrilled to announce the opening of our largest and most state-of-the-art greenhouse in Yorkville, Illinois providing fresh, pesticide free leafy greens to the Chicagoland and Midwest. This farm is just the first of 3 greenhouses to open before the end of the year, tripling our capacity to supply our retailers and consumers with the highest quality greens.
