This teacher from one of the school who got electricity from our #Solar4Schools program, is one of our biggest fans. She continuously messages us about how school and life had improved since getting electricity, lights, fans and computers. One thing she tells us is the students don’t leave the classroom anymore to escape the heat of the classrooms. Attendance and joy is way up. Viktwa!

When you don't have access to electricity, just one or two solar panels can make a huge difference. With Brighten Haiti's #Solar4All program, we make it possible for families to buy solar panels in Haiti at affordable costs. These panels are donated to us through our #SolarReUSE program, keeping perfectly good solar equipment out of landfills in the US. Now these families can have a few lights at night and charge cell phone for their neighbors. Our #Solar4All program also enables people to start micro solar businesses in their communities, providing solar panels and equipment to others, providing economic opportunities to their families. Please welcome our newest Solar Apprentice, Michel Christerline. Michel is a 19-year-old Haitian woman who is passionate about renewable energy, particularly solar energy. Just graduated last year from High school in Titanyen Haiti, Christerline joins the Brighten Haiti Solar apprenticeship program to continue her dream, she is interested in sustainable solutions to address the energy challenges of her country and the world. Curious and determined, Christerline aspires to contribute to a cleaner and more environmentally friendly future through her commitment to this field. Gender equality is a key component of our Ethos. This milestone celebrates a year of progress, where young apprentices have honed their skills, brought transformative solar solutions to their communities, and honored the inspiring legacies of ???????? ?????????????????? ?????? ????. ???????????? ????????????. Reflecting on the past year, the Solar Training Center has: Trained aspiring solar professionals, empowering them to bring light to schools, clinics, and families. Expanded access to affordable solar solutions through programs like #Solar4Schools and #SolarReUSE. Strengthened community resilience, offering a pathway out of energy poverty and into sustainable development. Since the Grand Opening, with your support, we have ???????????????? ?????????? ???????????? ???? ??,?????? ???????????????? ???? ?????????? ?????????????? ?????? ?????????? ?????? ?????????????????????? ????????????. This has made a massive difference in their education, enabling them to learn and grow in ways that were previously unimaginable. The Brighten Haiti Solar Training Center is the only solar training center in Haiti, offering unparalleled facilities to support learning and innovation. It is equipped with: Women's and men's dorm rooms, ensuring a safe and inclusive environment for all trainees. A hands-on solar lab, providing practical, real-world installation experience. Starlink Internet, allowing access to global resources and communication. Computers and tablets, essential tools for learning and technical training. Clean drinking water and nutritious meals, supporting the well-being of our apprentices. This journey wouldn't have been possible without the dedication of Brighten Haiti's team, supporters, and partners who have believed in the vision of a brighter future for Haiti.
