CEO Kristina Cerniglia recently spoke with BizTimes Media about her appointment to CEO and what's ahead for Briggs & Stratton. "We just introduced to the market a hybrid light tower. It uses both our Vanguard Commercial Power lithium battery system as well as diesel. It delivers unmatched performance that meets a growing demand for hybrid technology. We also have an electrified zero turn lawnmower that also uses our Vanguard batteries. We’re expanding a lot around our electrification product offerings and that will continue in the future. Brooks Stevens, Inc. recently celebrated its 90th anniversary with three days of events in Milwaukee. One of the events was held at Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design's 106 Gallery, which featured historic art pieces and designs from over the years. Briggs & Stratton has partnered with the design firm closely over the years, including in the design of our gasoline/electric hybrid vehicle in 1980. We were glad to have the design renderings and other archival pieces on display at the gallery. It was a strong showcase of the innovative spirit of Milwaukee.
