Today, on Women's Entrepreneurship Day, I want to take a moment to reflect on the incredible journey that brought us here. In 2019, I founded Brigade Events with a vision to empower the next generation of female leaders. I wanted to build a company based on progressive values—introducing policies like flexible schedules and a robust maternity leave to help women balance their careers and family life. At Brigade, we believe that when women unite, they create lasting change. I’m incredibly proud of the community we've built and as we continue to grow our business, we remain focused on staying true to these values while maintaining profitability. Visiting the Space. Site visits are absolutely essential in the event world, much like how CEOs rehearse their presentations or athletes walk through their plays before a major game. While photos offer a glimpse, experiencing a venue firsthand gives us a deeper understanding of its potential, allowing us to envision the layout, atmosphere, and flow before the event takes shape. During these visits, we identify logistical challenges and uncover creative opportunities that elevate the event — especially for our international projects. They equip us with the insight and confidence needed to transform concepts into memorable, impactful experiences for our clients and their guests.
