This Monday (October 28), we were honored to host @JamesMcDonaldMD at our Church Ave site in Flatbush for Governor Hochul's #Brooklyn Day! We gave Commissioner McDonald a tour of our mobile unit, offices, and outpatient substance use treatment program. Thank you to the Department of Health and Dr. McDonald for visiting us and recognizing our impact in addressing social determinants of health in Brooklyn! #BrooklynDay

Sharing pictures of the grand opening event of our new site at Flatbush Gardens earlier this month! We are deeply grateful to JJ Bistricer?at?#ClipperEquity?for providing us with free space and resources and to New York City Council Member?Farah Louis?for her support in fostering this strategic partnership. We were honored by the attendance of Deputy Brooklyn Borough President Kimberly Council, Assemblymember Monique Chandler-Waterman, and Kim Watson-Benjamin from the Public Advocate’s Office and many community partners, including Elite Learners Inc., KAVI | Kings Against Violence Initiative, Safe Horizon, CAI (Cicatelli Associates Inc), Sharon Coombs-Rose, and NYPD Boxing + Kids and Cops!

We are proud to stand together in this fight for what is a basic human right. Thanks to the Human Services Council of New York for championing this issue that so deeply affects our sector. We continue to fight for what is right.

This past weekend, volunteers from?Neuberger Berman helped us paint a few accent walls for our new mental health clinic in #Williamsburg to create a #warm, #friendly, and #welcoming space for all who visit our clinic. We are so pleased with the results! Thank you - Theresa, Mali, Ayana, and Nadine! We also want to give a shoutout to our board members Mr. and Mrs. McKeney for helping us to build shelves and hang pictures in the hallway of the children/adolescent wing. It was a beautiful day of teamwork. We are #grateful. Please come see the space and join us at the grand opening on May 16!
