Grateful for our Career Access Partnership with Early Charm & Ken Malone, and for incredibly talented students like Collin!
I noticed Early Charm employee Collin March always sketching 'superhero' (my description, not his) concepts during his breaks. I asked him to come up with an Energy Pig to commemorate Materic fuel cell launch in Pigtown. He said he always wanted to try spray paint. We turned him loose. I love the result. We first met Collin through Bridges Baltimore when he was one of many of their young people touring our shop. When we shared with Bridges that Early Charm was looking to fill several Maryland Department of Service and Civic Innovation positions with us, they recommended Collin and helped get him enrolled in the program. It was an easy sell for me to hire him. He's a Baltimore Polytechnic Institute alum so I knew he was coming with a great STEM background. The artist thing was a great added benefit.
