The Bernalillo County CARE Campus’ “Peer Living Room” program has been honored with a????????? ?????????????????????? ???????????from the National Association of Counties (NACo) for its innovative approach to providing vital services to residents! ?? The Peer Living Room program provides various resources, including crisis intervention, support from peer counselors with personal experience managing mental illness, and intervention from professional counselors who teach de-escalation skills and develop safety plans. What a view! We have a very cool project currently under construction, the Eagle Nest Comfort Station. What is a comfort station you may ask? It provides campers with restroom facilities, showers, shade, and drinking water stations. With gorgeous views of Eagle Nest Lake and the surrounding mountains, the project is expected to wrap up construction later this year.
