The first two days of ADIPEC Exhibition and Conference in the UAE have been great. The people have been kind, the food has been amazing, and I’ve learned some really interesting things: 1. The National Oil Companies (NOCs) are ambitious in their climate goals and incredibly resourceful. They’ve set clear, ambitious targets and many have committed to #OGMP 2.0. And they’re already making progress towards those targets. 2. Technology access (particularly on the environmental side) is a real barrier for them today. They are making impressive strides and are experimenting with what’s available, but they do not have the luxury to choose from as many suppliers as companies in, say, West Texas. It’s exciting to see all of the projects and investments NOCs are preparing to make. And I’m proud to be representing Bridger Photonics, Inc. with my colleagues Hamed Moshrefi and Mike Thorpe as we explore new ways to reduce #methane around the world.

There were so many good old photos I could have added to this post, but the leadership team I concluded command of a squadron of American Airmen with seemed like the right fit. There is well over a century of combined service in this photo, who knows how many decades of deployments, exercises and TDYs away from home and loved ones when combined together and I was so lucky to have known these fine Americans let alone served with them. What does this have to do with Election Day? Keep reading…or don’t keep reading and JUST GO VOTE! Each of us in the photo came from varied backgrounds, experiences and corners of our country. We undoubtedly had VERY different political views, but we didn’t have the luxury of allowing those differences to get in our way, we had to work together as a single unit to take care of our Airmen and get our global mission done to help preserve our national security so you could VOTE TOMORROW and on Election Day for years and years to come. So that’s it, tomorrow is the day and Veteran’s Day is next week. If you really want to thank us for our service, GO VOTE tomorrow!
