We loaded up 8 large boxes and made our 7th delivery to #RushChildrens . . . now totaling over 1,000 new kits to this children's hospital alone since December of 2021! ? What an amazing day at our first #BrickbyBrick donor luncheon on Saturday . . . raising over $41,000?? to help #BuildHope in sick kids with the gift of #LEGO! Led by our incredible host, Jackie Kostek, the day brought together 100 friends, donors, families, and supporters of this mission to celebrate what so many are doing to build hope when sick kids need it most. The room was brought to tears as we heard the moving testimonies from Amy and Gina, who shared their family stories and how this mission has impacted them. And we closed with our presentation of this year's #AlwaysGiveMoreAward honorees . . . Melissa, Stacey, and Roberta! The three amazing ladies who started and lead our annual #RideforKids that has raised nearly $30,000 and collected over 1,000 new #LEGO sets in just two years! ? The power of community & generosity on display . . . We were in need of new (and MORE!) collection boxes for our #LEGOdrives! Our friend Thomas Boss at Termax Corporation stepped up and connected us with one of their packaging suppliers. So, we met York Kurinsky at Akers Packaging Service Group, and he offered to donate 50 collection boxes! But then we needed our artwork printed on the boxes, so York stepped up again to connect us with a digital printer. So, we met Walter Smith and Darryl at United Engravers to help get our artwork printed on the boxes . . . and after meeting with the owners of the company (pictured here!), they all decided to donate their time and materials for our collection boxes! Yesterday, our Founder, Adam, picked up the new collection boxes that you will start to see all thanks to this amazing chain of generosity! ? We can't say THANK YOU enough to these new friends that have all stepped up to help support this mission in a BIG way!
