?? Life-Saving Teamwork in Action ?? On February 26 at 14:11, our team responded to a witnessed cardiac arrest in Taunton. Dispatcher Gabby Cabral expertly guided the callers through CPR instructions ensuring they were supported until help arrived. Upon arrival, ALS crew members Jennie Duquette and David Sanson worked relentlessly to achieve ROSC in the field. The patient, initially in asystole, regained a steady pulse and spontaneous breathing before reaching the ER. While Gabby is not pictured, we are incredibly proud of all three for their quick thinking, dedication, and teamwork in this life-saving effort. #ROSC #EMSExcellence #CPRSavesLives #Teamwork

Team Member Spotlight: Madison Studley Meet Madison Studley, one of our talented EMTs based at our Plymouth location. Madison has been a valued member of the Brewster Ambulance Service family for 1.5 years. Her dedication to her role and lively personality make her a joy to work with. Madison’s personality and wide-ranging interests make her a remarkable part of our team. Outside of work, she has many talents: sewing, swimming, water polo, and crushing trivia nights at the 99. She approaches everything she does with energy and enthusiasm, a trait that carries over to her exceptional patient care. Her path to EMS is as unique as her character. Inspired by her brother, Max Studley, a former Plymouth Spotlight employee, Madison followed in his footsteps to make her mark in the world of emergency services. Along the way, she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and had a stint as a performer at King Richard's Faire. These experiences make her a skilled EMT and a compassionate, resourceful, and dynamic professional. Madison, we’re so happy to have you on our team! Your hard work and positive attitude make a difference every day. Thank you for all you do! #BrewsterSpotlight #Teamwork #EMTLife

Shining Moments of Compassion and Expertise: In December, Communications Lead Josephine Leonard and EMD Telecommunicator Megan Eddy played key roles in life-saving cardiac arrest situations. Joanie guided a wife through CPR during a witnessed arrest, and Megan coached family members during a crisis at a family function. On New Year’s Day, Kristine Walent had a memorable end to her shift, assisting in the delivery of a baby girl just minutes before clocking out. All three have a history of outstanding work—Joanie and Megan both helped deliver babies over the phone, and Kristine has now earned her 4th award for her crucial role in life-saving events, including helping a mother deliver a baby solo this past May. In 2024, our Comms Team has contributed to: - 6 Cardiac Arrest Saves - 3 Baby Deliveries over the phone - 1 Choking Save with a patient pregnant with twins We are incredibly proud of their dedication and expertise in making a difference when it matters most.
