In October Brem released a?survey with?our partner?No Patient Left Behind, exploring the barriers to breast cancer screening and treatment if diagnosed. Results revealed that nearly 30 million women missed critical breast cancer screenings in 2023, with cost being a major barrier. This month, remember to take a moment to do a breast self-exam because early detection saves lives! Healthy breasts have normal “lumps and bumps”, but if you notice any unusual changes, consult your healthcare provider to get it checked.
