?? Elected Officials in Distress: Denial Only Deepens Loneliness ???? On March 6th, my partner, Jean-Claude Artonne was interviewed by Alexia Borg on #FigaroTV to address a critical issue: the psychological exhaustion of elected officials, especially mayors, amid rising resignations and assaults. The numbers are alarming: 31.4% of mayors show signs of burnout, and attacks have increased by 15% in 2023. As Jean-Claude explained, the paradox of loneliness for elected officials is harsh: unlike entrepreneurs who can expect rewards or recognition, elected officials face constant criticism without gratitude or adequate compensation. A study by the AEI (American Enterprise Institute) in the United States even revealed that politicians score 2 points higher than the national average on the UCLA loneliness scale, an internationally recognized measure, much like the Richter scale for earthquakes. The most worrying part? The brain makes no distinction between emotional and physical threats. Both trigger the release of cortisol, the stress hormone, causing exhaustion, insomnia, and even reducing life expectancy. The reality is that the more the political climate is driven by anger and controversy, the more it exacerbates anxiety and loneliness among elected officials. Yet, insecurity remains a taboo topic, just like the need for proper psychological support. Yes, some listening cells are in place, but they are far from enough. So, lawmakers, President Emmanuel Macron, hear your elected officials, hear us at #LonelinessGlobalAction?? We urge the urgent creation of a dedicated ministry, a state secretariat, or a specialized commission to fight loneliness, as the UK and Japan have done. Ignoring this issue only strengthens the feeling of abandonment. There is still time to act. You want citizens united behind you in times of crisis? Then, strengthen your generals and officers, the mayors, against the teeth of loneliness. It’s possible, and the time is now! ?? #Loneliness #SupportForElectedOfficials #ActionSolitude #LonelinessAction #MentalHealth #PoliticiansInDistress

In my early 20s, I chased the destination. By my late 20s, I learned to embrace the journey. Now, in my mid-30s, I see the truth; it was never about either. ?? It was always about the company. We glorify the grind. The milestones. The pursuit of success. We tell ourselves that if we just reach a certain point, financial freedom, industry recognition, personal achievements, then we’ll feel fulfilled. Then we realize it’s not about the destination. It’s about the process. The lessons. The growth. But even that isn’t the full picture. Because what’s a journey, no matter how rewarding, if you’re walking it alone? Looking back, my most defining moments weren’t about what I achieved. They were about who was beside me. ? Not the ones who showed up when things got exciting. ? Not the ones who suddenly remembered me when success was within reach. ? Not the ones who needed proof before they placed their trust. But the ones who believed in me from day 1. ?? Some were childhood friends who saw my fire before I even knew how to use it. ?? Some were colleagues who backed me when my vision was still a sketch. ?? Some were strangers who placed their faith in me with no reason other than intuition. They weren’t there for the money. They weren’t there for the milestones. They were there for me. I understand transactional relationships. Business is business. Decisions are based on numbers, risk, and return. I respect that. But I also know the difference between a deal & a real connection. Some of my closest relationships started from a shared belief, an initiative, or a business venture, and along the way, they became my best friends. Because when you build something meaningful together, trust goes beyond contracts & KPIs. I have a few friends, some are millionaires & politicians. And sometimes, they just want to hang out, listen to live music, and talk about life, not business, strategy, or the next big deal. Because when your daily reality is filled with transactional decisions, it gets exhausting. Sometimes, you just want to be with people who are genuine. ?? That’s why genuine connection matters. Because at the end of the day, your destination will shift. Your journey will evolve. But the company you keep? That defines everything. This is why we started ActionSolitude in France, because loneliness is a global crisis. Now, we’re scaling worldwide through Loneliness Global Action. This isn’t just another initiative. This is a citizen-led movement. And we’re not stopping at one country. Our goal is 100+ countries by 2026. We already have key team leaders, but to truly make an impact, we need massive citizen participation. ?? We are looking for Board Advisors and Country Team Members in: Indonesia | India | Malaysia | Singapore | South Africa | Switzerland | UK | US | UAE | and beyond. This is more than a project, it’s a movement. A chance to reshape how the world tackles loneliness. ?? Sign up ??: The Link is in the first comment #LonelinessAction

?? Resign Because You Don’t Belong, Or Stay in a Toxic Workplace? There was a time when I felt so incredibly lonely at work. Not because I wasn’t good at my job. Not because I didn’t try to fit in. But simply because… I didn’t belong. ?? I increased the company’s revenue by 100%. ?? I streamlined operations, reducing costs and eliminating the need for extra hires because I took on responsibilities across multiple roles. ? I was so overloaded with work that I barely had time to socialize, let alone build connections. ? And all of this? It wasn’t because of the job itself, it was because of the company’s culture. Before deciding to leave, I weighed the pros and cons of staying vs. leaving without certainty. I asked myself: ? Am I growing here or just surviving? ? Is the paycheck worth the emotional toll of feeling excluded? ? If I stay, will anything change, or will I keep waiting for recognition that may never come? ? Am I staying because of comfort or because I truly see a future here? ? If I leave, will I regret not choosing myself sooner? ? Do I have a talent or skill that would allow me to land a job quickly for financial security? ? What is the worst-case scenario if I leave, and can I handle it? The answers were clear, so I made the scariest decision of my career. I resigned. No backup plan. No job lined up. No certainty about what was next. Instead, I flew to Bali alone for two weeks, applied to hundreds of jobs, and treated job interviews like B2B direct sales, lining up 4-5 interviews per day before finally unwinding at Finn's Beach Club. ?? And guess what? I landed a new job in less than a month. ?? Here’s what I learned: Loneliness isn’t just about being physically alone. You can deliver results, drive impact, and still feel disconnected. A toxic workplace doesn’t always look toxic; it feels like exhaustion, exclusion, and slow self-doubt creeping in. Staying in the wrong place will never lead you to the right opportunities. Yet, so many people stay. Because society tells us: ? “Just be grateful to have a job.” ? “Don’t take it personally.” ? “It’s just work, not family.” ?? But loneliness doesn’t just happen in isolation. It happens in crowded offices, in endless Zoom calls, in workplaces that reward politics over people. ?? This is why we need systemic change. ?? Loneliness Global Action is on a mission to reshape workplace culture so no one has to choose between their mental well-being and their career. - We push for policies that recognize loneliness as a public health & economic issue, ensuring companies prioritize human connection. - We collaborate globally with leaders, researchers, and organizations to develop ethical solutions for workplace well-being. Because no one should feel alone in a place where they spend most of their waking hours. ?? Join the movement. ?? Sign up. The link is in the first comment. ?? Have you ever experienced this? What did you do, stay or leave? Let’s discuss #LonelinessAction

?? ?? IMAGINE A WORLD WHERE THE TOXIC, THE BULLISH, THE MANIPULATORS, THE SCAMMERS, AND THE EGO-DRIVEN ARE REMOVED TO PROTECT AN INCLUSIVE WHOLE. ?? A world where we eliminate destructive forces, not to exclude, but to ensure a stronger, healthier, and truly connected community. A world where we uplift the benevolent majority, those who collaborate, build, and lead with integrity. ?? Bullish Behavior Is Everywhere. Are We Calling It Out? ? In WhatsApp groups – Where certain voices dominate and invalidate others. ? In school and friendships – Where people judge based on background instead of character. ? In workplaces – Where the loudest get credit while the truly competent are overlooked. ? In dating and relationships – Where manipulators say “I love you” to multiple people at the same time. ? In leadership and business – Where ego-driven power plays silence collaboration. ?? And the worst part? They make us doubt ourselves. I’ve Been There, Again and Again. ?? In a WhatsApp group… ?? I introduced myself, and someone dismissed Breezy as “just another AI startup,” without even listening to my vision. ?? Among school friends… ?? I was judged for my background. Some thought I was just a “lucky dumb girl” because my father was financially secure. I proved them wrong by graduating in just 7 semesters. ?? At work… ?? I was introverted, observant, and selective with words. Instead of seeing my quiet strength, people assumed it was weakness. In many workplaces, the loudest voices get credit, while quiet competence is overlooked. ?? In business & leadership… ?? I’ve seen those who manipulate conversations, dominate spaces, and dismiss others. They pose as “visionaries” but refuse to listen. ?? In dating… ?? Some say “I love you” to multiple people, building false intimacy while keeping options open. These players and scammers have turned dating into a playground for deceit. ?? This isn’t just frustrating, it creates loneliness. ?? The Silent Toll of Bullish Behavior ?? People don’t leave jobs, they leave toxic environments. ?? People don’t stop sharing, they stop when they aren’t heard. ?? People don’t disconnect because they want to be alone, they do when they feel unseen. ?? People don’t stop dating, they stop trusting because scammers and players make love feel transactional. ?? Loneliness is not just a personal issue. It’s a public crisis. ?? My Big Global Vision ?? These bullish, non-benevolent people should have NO PLACE in our business, social, and dating ecosystems. ?? We need a shift, collaboration over competition, integrity over manipulation, and true leadership over performative power. ?? It’s Time for Action. ?? That’s why I’m leading Loneliness Global Action. A movement to reshape how we connect and create spaces where people feel truly seen. ?? Join the movement. Link in the first comment. ?? ?? Have you experienced this? Let’s talk.?? #LonelinessGlobalAction #Loneliness #LonelinessAction #ActionSolitude

? Right Time, Right Place, Right People, Or Just Because? I co-founded two businesses, not because I had a perfect plan, but just because the opportunity was there. I built partnerships with clients during my advertising agency days, just because we had mutual trust and synergy. I got investment from friends & partners back then, just because they believed in me. I found my soulmate when I wasn’t even looking, just because life had its timing. And there was a time when I got scammed, and a few friends helped me financially, just because. The biggest moments in my life? They didn’t happen because I forced them. They happened because I was in the right place, at the right time, with the right people. And most of them? We call them best friends. ?? But here’s something I’ve learned: The right time, place, and people? You don’t wait for them. You become them. #DrJoeDispenza talks about how our thoughts create our reality, that the way we train our mind and body today is what manifests our future. Most people live in survival mode, waiting for external conditions to change before they feel happy, abundant, or loved. But true transformation happens when we feel the emotions of our future before it happens. Some people are enthusiastically joining me in growing Loneliness Global Action globally because they see loneliness as a public health & economic crisis that needs urgent solutions and because they believe in collective action for real change. And I want this movement to be in 100 countries by the end of 2026. Some people might not be supporting me right now, not because they don’t care, but because they’re busy with their own priorities. That’s completely fine. ? I always focus on the ones who have been there since Day 1. Because when I look back, I realize that everything that happened in my life, from my businesses to investments, to my partnerships and relationships, happened “just because.” ?? But the truth is, millions of people don’t get those “just because” moments because loneliness holds them back. The right time, right place, and right people? They don’t just happen for everyone. ?? But what if they could? The right time, right place, and right people aren’t about luck. They are about #alignment. People who expect to feel joy, love, and connection before it arrive tend to attract it effortlessly. People who live in lack and fear, waiting for external validation before they believe in themselves, often find themselves stuck in the same cycle. Your mind and body must already live in the future you want to experience. Not waiting. Not hoping. But embodying it, feeling it as if it’s already real. The right people are out there. The right place exists. The right time is now. ? Instead of waiting for change, we can train our minds and bodies to experience it now because the future we imagine is the one we create. ?? Who Takes Care of the Caretakers? We build solutions for others. ?? Better mental health platforms. ?? More inclusive workplaces. ?? Tools for human connection. But while we’re solving for the world, who is solving for us? ?? 72% of startup founders battle mental health struggles. ?? 49% experience burnout. ?? 59% feel lonely, even in a crowded room. (Source: Startup Snapshot & NBER) The ugly truth? ? We normalize burnout. ? We glorify suffering as ‘part of the grind.’ ? We celebrate unicorns but ignore the wreckage left behind. ?? Who takes care of the caretakers? In the past three weeks, I’ve connected & even had a conference call with more than 30 startup founders, changemakers, and visionaries. And you know what? ?? They’re finally opening up about the burnout, the anxiety, the pressure, the sleepless nights. ?? They’re tired of suffering in silence. ?? They’re relieved to know they’re not alone. And beneath the polished LinkedIn updates and “we’re crushing it” pitches, here’s what I heard: ?? “I haven’t paid myself in months.” ?? “I feel like I’m carrying the weight of the world alone.” ?? “If this doesn’t work, I don’t know what’s next.” These aren’t just words. These are the unspoken realities of being a founder. ?? Entrepreneurs are TWICE as likely to experience depression. ?? 1 in 3 founders struggles with extreme stress or anxiety. ?? Most startups don’t fail because of bad ideas, they fail because founders burn out. ?? Investors tell us to "hustle harder." ?? The ecosystem rewards relentless growth, not resilience. ?? The world idolizes success stories but ignores the silent suffering behind them. Enough. We need a new conversation, a new movement. That’s why we're launching Loneliness Global Action, started from ActionSolitude France, we are taking it global ?? Because no one should have to build the future in isolation. ?? One of My Crazy Ideas? Becoming a DJ at Night & a Marketer by Day ?? At one point, I seriously considered spinning tracks at night and closing deals in the day, not because I had dreams of being the next Calvin Harris, but because I thought if I kept myself busy enough, I wouldn’t have to admit I was lonely. Of course, I had 0 DJ experience, but how hard could it be? I was a keyboardist for years, and I even knew a few bar/lounge owners, so getting gigs wouldn’t be an issue. Worst case? I’d just press some buttons, nod my head, and hope no one noticed. Hahaha. But truthfully, I wasn’t just distracting myself from loneliness, I was running from disappointments in love. ?? I’ve loved someone who never truly chose me, and I’ve been loved by someone I couldn’t love back. ?? I’ve stayed up at night wondering why I wasn’t enough for one person while feeling guilty for not feeling the same for another. ?? I’ve experienced chasing love that wasn’t mine, and being someone else’s almost. So, I convinced myself that love wasn’t for me ?? but life had other plans, and I eventually found my soulmate, so all is good now. ?? Because here’s the thing, I had a great career, financial independence, and a packed schedule. On paper, I had no reason to feel lonely. But loneliness doesn’t care about your LinkedIn achievements. It sneaks up on you between meetings, during solo dinners, or when you realize your “busy” is just another way to avoid the truth. ?? Loneliness isn’t just a feeling, it’s a crisis: - 58% of adults worldwide report feeling lonely at least sometimes (Cigna Global Loneliness Index). - Harvard found that 61% of young adults in the U.S. feel “serious loneliness.” - Loneliness increases your risk of death by 26% (Meta-Analysis of Social Relationships and Mortality). ?? So what’s the solution? It’s not another self-help podcast. It’s not just “going out more.” And no, it’s not just another dating app. Join Loneliness Global Action (LGA) ?? LGA is a citizen-led movement addressing loneliness as a public health and economic crisis. LGA does not compete with other organizations but exists to raise awareness at all levels ??? LGA focuses on: ? Global regulatory frameworks that recognize loneliness as a societal issue. ? Social impact projects creating real-world solutions. ? Multi-sector partnerships with NGOs, governments, & tech leaders to develop safe, ethical, and inclusive ways to restore human connection in digital and real-world environments. ?? As loneliness reaches epidemic levels worldwide, LGA is shaping policies, initiatives, and innovations that will redefine how we connect. Let’s build a future where people don’t have to distract themselves from loneliness but solve it. ?? ?? Socialization is a future trillion-dollar market, just like the wellness industry, which grew rapidly before clear boundaries were established. The market is still taking shape, but thanks to the efforts of all the industry players you mentioned, its structure will soon be defined ?? I’m currently working on Breezy and leading Loneliness Global Action, a non-profit dedicated to raising awareness about the loneliness pandemic and giving visibility to companies building a more connected world in real life I’d love to introduce you to Nicolas Fantuz, who is building the first-ever impact fund dedicated to socialization tech with an initial €100M allocation. He’s currently reviewing the first cohort of promising businesses for the initial portfolio, so if your company aligns with this vision, feel free to connect with him Also, my partner, Jean-Claude Artonne, is leading a long-term development project in Emotional AI, with some patent-pending innovations. Building Joust

When I joined MetaProp, one of my first projects was mapping out the investors in our space. I found myself constantly tweaking this resource over the years. But after founding Joust, I struggled to find anything similar for the Socialization sector. I learned that while some investors have supported these founders for years, this is still an emerging industry. So, after weeks of calls, emails, and meetings, I’ve FINALLY pieced together a working map of investors backing in-person connection. Here’s how I define it: ?? Competitive Socialization – Activity-driven venues with F&B experiences (Electric Shuffle, Swingers - the crazy golf club, PINGPOD INC) ?? URL to IRL Apps – Platforms that get us off our couches and into community (Timeleft, 222) ?? Emerging Sports & Leagues – The future of play and competition (League One Volleyball (LOVB), Freestyle Chess) ?? Social Clubs – Exclusive, physical club spaces (Soho House & Co, Zero Bond) Now, I need your help! Who else should be on this list? Tag investors who belong here and founders who'd benefit from it for their future rounds. Truly appreciate everyone who helped me create this.

?? Do You Need to Be an Entrepreneur to Be a Changemaker? ?? Loneliness sucks. I’ve seen it break people. My father went bankrupt after being cheated by a few people he trusted. He lost almost everything, he had to sell almost all of his assets. I have never been stronger than when I witnessed that as a teenager. His friends disappeared, and well, it is what it is. Most people admire entrepreneurs, the ones who build billion-dollar businesses, disrupt industries and scale innovation. But what about changemakers? ?? The ones who choose impact over pure profit, who fight for what’s right even when it’s inconvenient, who don’t just build companies but build movements that matter. Some say you have to be an entrepreneur to create lasting change. Others argue that changemakers don’t need business models, they just need a voice, a mission, and relentless action. So, which is true? ?? ? Not All Changemakers Are Entrepreneurs A changemaker challenges the status quo and takes action to reshape the world. An entrepreneur builds a business around an opportunity. ? Mahatma Gandhi didn’t start a company, he led a nonviolent revolution that freed a nation. ? Martin Luther King Jr. didn’t scale a startup, he led a movement that redefined civil rights. ? Greta Thunberg didn’t build a business, she sparked a global climate movement. They didn’t need a pitch deck. They needed courage, conviction, and a refusal to back down. ?? ?? So Why Do Many Changemakers Become Entrepreneurs? Because movements need sustainability. Because impact needs infrastructure. Because funding social change isn’t easy. That’s why Muhammad Yunus built the Grameen Bank. ?? That’s why Bill Drayton built Ashoka. ?? That’s why Yvon Chouinard gave away Patagonia. ?? Because change isn’t just about passion. It’s about execution. ?? ?? So Who Does It? The ones who can’t unsee the problem once they recognize it. The ones who know that if they don’t step up, maybe no one else will. ? That’s why we started Loneliness Global Action, because no one should have to face loneliness alone. So many people want to be part of this movement, and while I’m still managing it half manually, half automated, I aim to make it fully scalable within 1-2 years. ??? Entrepreneurship as a Tool, Not the Goal You don’t need to be an entrepreneur to be a changemaker. But if you want your impact to outlast you, thinking like an entrepreneur helps. Because change isn’t just about ideas. It’s about systems, strategy, and sustainability. ?? That’s why real change needs more than just good intentions. It needs a model that works, grows, and lasts, whether it’s a movement, a business, or a completely new way of thinking. #Changemakers #Entrepreneurship #SocialImpact #LonelinessAction #ActionSolitude
