I had the opportunity to listen to Justin Ford’s safety presentation today, and it was incredible! ?? Everyone at my table was busy taking notes—it was both fascinating and eye-opening to hear the stories of serious accidents that could have been prevented with simple solutions. A significant takeaway was how many hosts and owners are simply unaware of the safety measures they should have in place. What Justin is doing—traveling the world to raise awareness and promote safety in STRs—is truly inspiring. If you haven’t completed Breezeway’s safety certification yet, I highly recommend you do it!??

Last night, I had the privilege of launching Breezeway’s inaugural safety course outside the United States at the ExpoRV Conference in Cancun, Mexico. All the training videos were filmed in Spanish in Costa Rica—without subtitles or AI assistance. It was a true honor to introduce this new Latin American version of the Short-Term Rental Safety Inspector Course in collaboration with APAR. I am especially grateful to Manuel Lozano for his invaluable support in helping us promote Breezeway’s mission to elevate professionalism in the short-term rental industry.
