Building on Breathe Life Healing Center’s eleven-year legacy of compassionate, innovative care, Beck brings a dynamic vision for the future that includes broadening access, deepening community engagement, and elevating Breathe’s role in LGBTQ+ mental health and trauma recovery. “I am honored to carry forward the legacy of Deb Hughes and to lead Breathe’s mission of healing and growth. Together, we will continue to break ground in trauma focused care, and I am committed to ensuring every individual and community we serve feels seen, supported, and empowered to thrive,” said Beck. Since opening our doors on November 4, 2013, with just 14 beds, Breathe has grown into a 54-bed facility that has helped thousands along their journey to recovery. Guided by a “MORE GOOD, LESS BAD” approach, we’ve worked to provide trauma treatment for those in need, especially those with insurance. Our model, rooted in safety, stabilization, and IFS clinical practices, ensures that clients and their families receive the compassionate care they deserve. As a proud LGBTQIA+ owned and operated organization, Breathe is “straight friendly” and inclusive to all. Today, as a new generation steps into leadership roles, our mission remains strong, continuing to help lives heal and transform. Here’s to 11 years of hope, growth, and countless lives changed.
