I was deeply humbled and touched by the Recognition in honor of Women’s History Month from ITServe Alliance Charlotte Chapter on 4th March 2025 for my contributions to the field of Cancer and profound impact on countless lives across the globe. It was wonderful to receive the honor from the women entrepreneurs at the event. I am immensely grateful to Mr. Shyam Padamati for the initiative, and I cannot be more thankful to Mr. Shyam, Mr. VEERASAI GOPA, Mr. Ravi Ramanathan, and the ITServe Alliance Organizing team for the kindest gestures and support towards the invaluable cause, helping save lives. My heartfelt thanks to the Anchor, the speakers, and all the entrepreneurs present. March 08, 2025, Run Jen Run 5K, Charlotte, NC: On behalf of Breast Cancer Hub (BCH), I immensely thank Carrie Griffin, Joe Pagani, Susan Sears, Amy Hastings, and the team of GoJenGo for inviting BCH to share our educational resources and Patient Care Package. We are so thankful to the GJG Foundation for all the great work they are executing in NC. It is always a beautiful feeling meeting Aarti Sengupta from our BCH Support family; she is so inspiring and so proud of Aarti for her participation in the Run! The Breast Cancer Fighters we met, we felt so blessed to be able to give our BCH patient care package. Our bundle contains Breast Cancer Surgery (also applicable for other cancers), heart-shaped pillow with a pocket to insert cold or hot pack providing comfort and healing, specialized Chemo port Seat Belt pillows to wear in the Car while seated, and Soft Hats for irritated scalp from chemo, extremely helpful for patients. We also provided The pink bag to each visitor that carried the BCH brochure with the QR codes to download the Breast Self Exam cards for Her and Him in 24 languages and one-stop Life-saving Early Detection Cards for other prevalent cancers, and my contact information so that any suspicious case can reach out to me later. The wristband with a combination color of pink representing breast cancer in women, blue representing breast cancer in men, and purple inclusive of all genders and all cancers along with bookmarks with the message of togetherness were also included in the bag. Sierra Leone, July 2024, John Thorpe Community, Rokel Village: The “One Community per Month Breast Cancer Screening Campaign” by Breast Cancer Hub (BCH) in partnership with Thinking Pink Breast Cancer Foundation (TPBCF). Thank you for the leadership of Mrs. Cremelda Parkinson Pratt and the great team of Thinking Pink. Without you, this couldn’t have been possible. Twenty-four (24) women were screened and we detected four (4) abnormalities. The screening camp was executed with funds from Breast Cancer Hub. Nigeria: Okulu Community & Environs, October 10, 2024: Breast, Prostate, and Cervical Cancer Sensitization/Screening at Okulu Primary Healthcare Center, Ovia NE, Edo State, Nigeria by Oke Creative Future Foundation (OCFF) and Breast Cancer Hub (BCH). The team sensitized the community with BCH collaboratively generated Breast Self Exam Cards for Her & Him, and also the expert professional could sensitize the community about Cervical Cancer & Prostate Cancer by using BCH-generated Cervical and Prostate Cancer Cards for Early Detection Symptoms. There were also screening for BP and Obesity. Thank you OCFF Team: .
