Meet Bonnie Todman — one of the driving forces behind this year’s Spring Social! Her journey with Breakthrough T1D began when her 10-year-old daughter was diagnosed with T1D, and Rufus, the teddy bear, became a symbol of hope and strength. That moment sparked her mission to help find a cure ?? For Bonnie, the Spring Social is all about celebrating, growing our community, and uniting for a shared passion — to create a world without T1D. Meet Charlie Jacoby - recording and performing artist from Brooklyn, who uses her T1D journey as a source of strength and inspiration. Diagnosed during her sophomore year of high school, she found her purpose in music. Fast forward to now, she recently released her new single, Red, and performed at her first sold-out headline show! Fun fact: Charlie’s favorite low snack is Peach Rings, and her go-to Dexcom spot is her thigh (though she switches it up to the backs of her arms too). Photo credit: Catherine Herber
