However, in developing economies like Sierra Leone, many school-going children face significant challenges. ?? Limited Access to Technology – Many schools lack electricity and internet, making modern learning difficult. ?? Shortage of Learning Materials – Textbooks, desks, and basic school supplies remain scarce. ?? Poverty & Dropout Rates – Many children are forced to leave school to support their families. Together, we can change this! By providing essential resources—books, school supplies, and digital access—we can create better learning opportunities for these children. ?? Happy 6th Anniversary, BBI! ?? Today, we proudly celebrate 6 incredible years of the BBI journey—a journey filled with impact, dedication, and love. Over the past six years, we’ve had the privilege of serving hundreds of schoolchildren, new mothers, and their babies. Our mission has taken us to children’s homes, schools, and hospitals across Sierra Leone, where we’ve worked to make a difference, one life at a time. This year, to mark our 6th anniversary, we held special BBI events at three children’s homes in Freetown: 1?? Ravera Children Rehabilitation Center in Lakka Village 2?? Variety Children and Family Services Center in Cole Lane, Kingtom 3?? Sierra Leone International Mission Child Center We brought food donations to these homes and spent time engaging with the children and facilitators, listening to their needs, dreams, and aspirations. What inspired us most was the children’s passion for learning and their determination to build a brighter future—for themselves and their communities. As we reflect on this milestone, we reaffirm our commitment to empowering lives through education, healthcare, and technology. And we couldn’t have done it without YOU—our incredible partners, donors, and friends. Your generosity and unwavering support have fueled our mission and allowed us to touch so many lives.
