Ethan Pierce, the son of Bread Financial associate Karah Bentley, is one of the many reasons why we proudly support Nationwide Children's Hospital. Ethan, born 12 weeks early with cardiac complications, spent time at NCH while he was being treated. For the first few years of his life, he continued his visits at NCH for follow-up appointments and check-ins with his cardiology team. 14 years later, a healthy and thriving Ethan will serve as a Mile Champion at the Bread Financial-sponsored seven-mile marker at the upcoming Nationwide Children's Hospital Columbus Marathon. “The hospital saved Ethan’s life and allowed him to be a normal, healthy boy. It means a lot to me personally to see how Bread Financial’s relationship with NCH has grown over the years,” Karah said. “This marathon will be particularly memorable as we honor Ethan and support an important cause alongside my family, friends and colleagues.” Learn more about Ethan’s story by visiting https://lnkd.in/eejYCvzS. #LifeatBreadFinancial #ColumbusMarathon #NationwideKids

It’s #InternationalDayOfTheGirl, a day to spotlight girls’ vision for the future. ?? In a recent Consumer Insights survey, we, along with our friends at Ruling Our eXperiences, Inc. (ROX), set out to understand the financial acumen and confidence among Gen Z women (ages 18-27), including decision-making and planning for the future — as well as how they learned, or are learning, about money management. Overall, about two-thirds of Gen Z women are confident in their money management skills and feel that they’re on the “right track” financially. This is buoyed by the fact that most (79%) indicate they have a desire to learn about money management. Uncover more insights on how Gen Z women are approaching their financial journeys by visiting our Newsroom. ?? ?? https://spr.ly/6046U0uCC

I recently visited Bread Financial’s India office for the second time with members of my leadership team. It was fantastic to return and meet with so many great leaders and associates while celebrating the company’s growth in the region. During our Town Hall, I had the opportunity to congratulate associates for performance achievements, recognize recent promotions and discuss exciting business updates. I am immensely proud of the India team and the critical role they play in driving our success. Having the opportunity to express those sentiments in person was particularly meaningful. Outside of work, we enjoyed experiencing Indian culture, which values celebrations and sharing. A special highlight was Sports Day, where we enjoyed spirited competition and played a fun game of cricket. This trip left me inspired and extremely grateful for the incredible culture we have created together at Bread Financial. Thank you again to Bhuvaneshwar Guheshwaraiah and the entire team in India for the wonderful hospitality and for making this trip so memorable.

Allegra Driscoll, our executive vice president and chief technology officer, recently shared her passion for creating opportunities for #womenintech at the Landmark Ventures CIO Summit. Her commitment to fostering a culture of belonging speaks volumes about the environment we strive to build upon every day at Bread Financial. At our core, we believe innovation and success stem from the empowerment of our associates to share their unique ideas and perspectives, and we’re dedicated to building an inclusive culture where everyone, regardless of background, feels a sense of belonging. #LifeAtBreadFinancial #Belonging #LandmarkCIOSummit
Chief Technology Officer at Bread Financial | Pioneering Innovative Technology in Financial Services | Empowering Leadership and Career Development | Elevating Corporate Culture and Associate Engagement
I recently had the honor of participating in the Landmark Ventures CIO Summit, where I joined a panel alongside remarkable leaders Padma Elmgart, Hina Shamsi and Sara Dillon, for an important discussion on #womeninIT leadership. During the event, I shared a moment from early in my career when a former female colleague and I were the only women at a technology operations dinner with over 40 attendees. It was a clear reminder of how important it is to create more opportunities for #womenintech, and while we have made great progress, we still have a ways to go. Throughout the conversation with my fellow female IT executives, I emphasized the importance of having empathy, an open mind to consider new ways of thinking and providing clear communication within the workplace. By empowering our associates with a safe space to share their thoughts and ideas, we’ve created a culture at Bread Financial where everyone feels like they belong and contribute to our long-term success. When we prioritize belonging, we unlock the full potential of our teams, leading to a healthy work environment, increased innovation and strong performance. Thank you to Landmark Ventures for providing an amazing platform and inviting me to share my insights and speak on a topic I am so passionate about.

Gen Z has its own language of sorts. So it’s hardly surprising that the biggest generation in history also has its own way to shop. Bread Financial, which caters to a growing number of Gen Z clients, is paying attention. In a recent national survey of some 1,700 people, the financial services firm explored how consumers from different generations manage and spend their money. Nick Antonelli, senior VP and chief marketing officer of Bread Financial, sees a few lessons for retailers and other businesses that want to gain Gen Z’s trust. With summer officially cooling off, fall travelers are looking to take advantage of cheaper prices and better weather. ?? According to our recent survey, almost half of all respondents stated they plan to spend between $1,000 and $5,000 on their next fall trip—but it doesn’t end there. Approximately 30% of #Millennials and #GenZ respondents claimed they plan on spending more than $5,000 on their trip, which provides brands an opportunity to target younger generations during the fall season.
