Today, we announced a new $2.5 million gift to The Kids Mental Health Foundation, a leading children’s mental health organization founded by Nationwide Children's Hospital. This gift will help create resources aimed at enhancing the mental well-being of children of military-connected families, who often lack a sense of understanding and belonging from their schools, peers and broader community. It will also support long-term programming like web resources and curriculum development and help to increase the reach and impact of existing Kids Mental Health Foundation programming for educators, working parents, coaches and primary care providers. We’re honored to partner with The Kids Mental Health Foundation on this important cause and are committed to providing the resources and support for all families’ mental health and wellness. This #VeteransDay, I am reflecting on the invaluable lessons I've learned from my husband, and also from my brother's service in the Marine Corps. Their experiences have profoundly shaped my view on leadership, resilience and the importance of community. As we celebrate the holiday, let’s remember to support our veterans and their families, acknowledging the sacrifices they make to protect our freedoms and the strength they embody; our actions, both big and small, can make a significant difference. ???? Visit the Bread Financial Newsroom at the link below ?? to read more about my family’s military journey and learn more about how we can all care for our service members and their loved ones.
