BRCē Takes Over Ann Arbor, MI! ?? I’m thrilled to share that Team BRCē had an incredible experience pitching at the Maximize Catalyst Accelerator Demo-Day earlier this week, where we were honored to win the Best Innovation Award! The 12-week accelerator program pushed us to grow, adapt, and innovate at every turn. It was an intense journey, one that taught me the importance of being quick on my feet as an entrepreneur—whether it was refining our pitch, addressing unexpected challenges, or seizing new opportunities. A huge shoutout to Ryan Morrison, Cole Bennett, Michigan SBDC, Dylan Back, Detroit Black Tech for putting this together! ?? But the excitement didn’t end there! Later that SAME DAY, we had the privilege of pitching at the A2 New Tech event in Ann Arbor. Our team (Tanvi Gadamsetti, Chloe Henshaw & I) did an amazing job pitching BRCē to the crowd of investors & entrepreneurs and the response was nothing short of amazing. The audience's enthusiasm for "our athletic laces that never come undone" was overwhelming, and the immediate connections we made with industry professionals were invaluable. The support extended to us, from six-figure fundraising offers to strategic partnerships, has been a testament to the incredible entrepreneurial community Ann Arbor has cultivated. Thanks to Michael Spath, Ann Arbor SPARK for the opportunity, and connecting with us! ?? It’s moments like these that remind me why we started BRCē as students at Michigan State University —to create innovative solutions and build something truly impactful. We are thrilled to announce that BRCē has been accepted into the Conquer Accelerator Program by MSU Research Foundation! This prestigious program will provide us with invaluable resources, mentorship, and support to help us grow and scale our business. This also makes BRCē the only student start-up to get accepted into Conquer the same year as being part of the MOMENTUM Pre-Accelerator by Michigan State University – Burgess Institute for Entrepreneurship & Innovation.???? This acceptance will enable us to better cater to all the requests from our customers and communities. The Conquer Accelerator is providing us with numerous resources to bring your suggestions to life. Our entire team is working tirelessly behind the scenes, ensuring that everyone is heard and that we continue to deliver high-quality products that meet your needs. This past June, BRCē had the incredible opportunity to participate in the MOMENTUM Pre-Accelerator Program, a six-week venture workshopping curriculum by Michigan State University – Burgess Institute for Entrepreneurship & Innovation.?We were one of five handpicked teams selected for a grant to help grow our ideas. During this time, BRCē achieved significant milestones including trademarking our brand, securing patents, developing new product lines, and conducting extensive data testing with our partner athletes. We also deepened our connections with the East Lansing community, listening to your feedback and ensuring our products meet your needs. All of this is to make sure we are serving our community the right way and for BRCē products to reach every door. The program included networking opportunities across the Midwest, with visits to 1871, Obie, and Public Thread in Chicago and Grand Rapids. We connected with entrepreneurs from DePaul University and Michigan State University, expanding our network and gaining valuable insights. All of these accomplishments and learnings are thanks to the amazing community that supports us. We are committed to giving back by providing high-quality products that enhance your athletic experience. A special thanks to Lori Fischer, Ken Szymusiak, and Paul Jaques!

One of the biggest reasons why Team BRCē & I (an international student from India ????) can build a business while managing college, summer internships, summer school, part-time jobs and personal lives, is because we’re in the United States of America!????
