Greater Des Moines' cultural sector supports over 5,000 jobs. When you see a show, tour a museum, or participate in an arts event, you directly support the roles within cultural nonprofits and institutions, as well as all the jobs that support these organizations indirectly such as contractors, hardware suppliers, or hospitality and transportation workers. #bravodsm #artsmatter #theartsatwork

Jesse Coleman recently joined Bravo as the new Community Investment Specialist, and is?already an asset to our small team. He has a deep passion for community and is committed to making a positive impact in our region. When asked how arts & culture have influenced or impacted his career, the topic of this month's newsletter, Jesse said, "Exposure to a variety of artistic expressions and cultural experiences in my life has encouraged me to think outside the box and approach challenges with different solutions. The arts have deepened my exposure to diverse perspectives, which has allowed me to develop more meaningful professional, and personal relationships.
