Alex Ruiz and Hana Ikeda joined our clients Yukika Sato and Yuki Miyoshi from Nissan Motor Corporation at the Tokyo International Gift Show (TIGS), the largest gift show in Japan, earlier this month. Showcasing a diverse array of innovative products and trends in the gift and lifestyle sectors, the show served as a vibrant hub for exploring the latest trends, forging business connections and celebrating the art of gift-giving on a global scale. Some highlights from the show: - There were seven exhibition categories, ranging from personal gifts and lifestyle to beauty and health - TIGS hosted three concurrent shows: LIFExDESIGN (interior crafts, home decor), Gourmet Show (premium food and bev, local delicacies, international culinary experiences) and LIVING & DESIGN (high-quality furniture and home solutions) - The event featured 50+ specialized fairs, that ranged from showcasing character and pop-inspired designs to highlighting premium home fabrics - The GLOBAL Overseas Pavilion provided a platform for international exhibitors to present their unique products, fostering cross-cultural exchange and business opportunities. - Lastly, notable exhibitors showcased using premium materials, including nylon, rubber and vinyl, and there was a large focus on customization and the importance of personalization in today's market.
